In Finland, you're legally required to do military service when you turn 18 :p Some use the argument that 9 months in military equals 9 month pregnancy. Though when i went, the 9 months had been cut to 6 months.

In Croatia you need to do some sort of military evidencing before you turn 18 which is just filling a stupid form. Useless crap because military already knows everything about you and already has you pre-sorted in troops. You don't have to go on a 18+ military training anymore, except in cases of war threat, after which you do "men's job" (no contract needs to be signed, your citizenship is enough).

Not being mean or anything, but working with all women and there only being one or two guys including myself in the building sucks.
Majority of the time I've heard women bitch more about being around women then being around guys. Unless, of course, they want to complain about their man or something. Just my experience in the work place.

Get yourself a penis and it will be all good.
Men have to work twice as hard because on one marvelous day, God gave women boobs. As everyone knows, boobs make up for any and all lack in work done. Boobs are also crucial when it comes to decision making, giving the boobee extra bonus points for a greater overall value.
A girl with boobs doesn't need to think, she can have a man do that for her.

**** that, wouldn't fancy being sent to the army when i was 18, if you want to join the army thats fine, but if you don't they shouldn't send you tere for a few months, POINTLESS!

Well, some people are idiots, and unfortunately also in power.

It's quite different being forced to do military service in a country thats military's only purpose is defense, then in one that wages wars around the world. It's kinda like insurance, pointless, until you need it.

And given it's Finland I'm willing to wager that much like insurance companies who butt**** their way out of paying anything, it's also just as pointless when you do need it.
Not having a dig either, same goes for Australia's military. Fun to parade but rather useless when push comes to shove.
I don't mean to demean the work our soliders are doing in other parts of the world, but if push came to shove and China invaded, we'd be proper ****ed.

Depends what it's purpose is. Not familiar with Australia's defense policy, but here the main plan is to make it too hard and too expensive to invade. If Russia wants to bomb us into the stone age, they can. But that wouldn't benefit them either. When push comes to shove, we have lousy equipment, but a big reserve, most trained for small group tactics in the forests.
