Hi guys, it's been a while since I've posted on here but I thought I'd put something up!
This is one of my latest videos, demonstrating how easy it is to make a modern hip-hop track! It took me 20 minutes to produce, 5 minutes to record and half an hour to put all together. As for the video, it took an hour and a half to film and an hour to edit. Add on to that a couple of hours of brainstorming and 10 minutes of storyboarding and you have a music video!
Overall work time: more or less 6 hours, including publishing and advertising!
EDIT: note that I'm not saying that ALL hip-hop is shit, or that ALL hip-hop is easy to make. I'm saying that a decent amount of what you hear in the charts is very simplistic and easy to do at home. Basically, I'm saying many hip-hop producers, rappers and labels are lazy! =P

Yeah I know. A mate of mine is a producer and what he makes is completely sick, and he works hours and hours making it that good. Here's a sample:
But the point I am making is that people like Soulja Boy, Pitbull and even the Black Eyed Peas (who I used to love) are making awful, 8 bit music that anyone could do themselves.
