They need to scrap the whole thing, too many people leeching off it.. There isn't any change that can fix it all, just needs to go tbh :|

Don't be ridiculous. Scrapping the benefits system would set the country back 30 years and destroy social mobility. The system itself, bar a few hair-brained schemes here and there and the odd sensationalist case is actually very good. We have a much more robust social safety net than the US, and we enjoy less unemployment, levels of poverty that is much less severe, and lower prison populations because of it. If anything needs looking at, it's the way we fund it, much less the system itself. The only reason the country is in such debt is because we rinse the working and middle classes for tax money, instead of the rich, and when that doesn't cover it, we borrow to stay afloat.
