Wonder if they've taken into account that the audience they're targeting will be out watching the real thing when it's on TV.

But then it'd get shit viewing figures, which would be a waste of time and money. And seeing as Cowell has openly said last year was rubbish, he'd want to do things bigger and better. I'm with Triquatra on this one, the search just for a DJ wouldn't work.

Have you taken into account the fact that anyone watching this would not really be into real DJing :P I'm pretty sure no one on this forum would actually watch it for example. I mean apart from to see how bad it is.

I disagree. People with no interest in dj'ing whatsoever won't suddenly develop one because it's on the telly.

Well that seems logical. But given the crap people will watch i think it is safe to say that as long as it's on TV, people will watch it. Look at Eastenders for example.

Can't see this being a big crowd-puller/money-spinner if I'm honest - it's too much of a niche thing. I don't think the general public would be overly enamoured (IMO), but I'm happy to be proven wrong!
Also - this has been floating around facebook! :P

thats my take on it anyway - nobody would watch it if it was about mixing and turntablism (no sheeple would anyway...and thats what they want)
This.
