Hey guys

recently just found this:

www.sevendimensions.net

Im not sure if it started before or after I started up my 7D, but could anything happen?

Meaning like getting sued, or any legal issues?

It doesn't seem to be copyrighted.

Names arent copyrightable but they can be registered as trademarks. But thats expensive. And I don't think you're likely to have problems with that site.

since when was Seven Dimensions a name?

By the way, there is a family in Denmark that actually has the surname "Lego". It's older than the company brand Lego, but it didnt stop them from suing the family a couple of years ago.

surname: It wasn't about a family with a surname, but a family who had used Lego as a 2nd name/surname long before Lego bricks came to be

Google Translate'd

Rofl... Toy Sixth is actually meant to be "toy giant", since the original text was "Leksaksjaette". leksak = toy. jaette = giant. sjaette = sixth.

doesnt look as though they've been around that long before that (and I highly doubt his company were registred before you started using the name (if they are registred at all).

why does it have to be 7d anyway? why not add an 8th dimension? or drop one and make it a 6th dimension? :)

That is so stupid to hear lawsuits like this. I can't remember, but there was a well-known company who did the same thing, sue the family because of their last name. The case got thrown out by the courts though.

You aren't making a profit so it should never be an issue.
