New to mixing so could you please take a little time and listen to my mix. any advice and how i need to brush up or if i should pack in would be a great help.

Well, here are my recommendations:
I personally think starting the mix at the first drop makes it more interesting. It sounds to me like you started at the very beginning of the song, and it takes a little while to get in.
I like your transition ideas, but you should work on beatmatching more. At 5:30 it's pretty noticeable that the songs are just a little bit off, but I think you caught it pretty well at 12:37.
I like the style you did the transitions in alot, I would keep that going! :) It reminds me off the way DJ Cotts mixes.
The equalization was also done very well, the volume pretty much stayed the same throughout, and I didn't hear any distortion.
One thing I noticed was that you sounded pretty uninvolved with the songs beyond transitions. Try experimenting a little bit with effects, samples, etc. Find out what you like, but don't overdo it - I sure did when I first started :p
Song choice was great as well, it seems to me from the variety of artists that you know your stuff song wise.
Altogether, not bad for being new! Sure is alot better than I was starting out.
