some nice notes and ideas on this, does sound abit muddy in the mix tho, kick needs to have more punch or be brought forward abit more as seems abit lost at the back. Synth reverb needs to be made a lil less harsh aswell.
Does have a really nice 2004 Hardcore feel to it though which i do really like which is probably why the not so perfect production works so well with it.
Do like the style defo keep it up bro!

Thanks for the honest review mate. I can see where you're coming from, mix-downs arent my best attribute. I can also hear what you mean about the synth, that might be why it takes over the mix a bit. Wasnt aiming for a 2004 sound in particular, but Im glad thats how it sounds, I personally prefer hardcore from that date.

Cheers guys, I know what you mean about the polishing. Perhaps its something I'll learn with experience. Dont have a studio with monitors and havent had any studio time with anyone else, so hopefully the sound will develop. Cheers for the input and will continue to try and keep on the road :)

I don't have the money mate.. I dont really want studio time from anyone either. Ive never been interested or tempted to invest in that kind of treatment for my music.
Plus Kurt hates me, after I disapproved of his studio decoration...

lol, I wasn't being serious. Just a little joke - referring back to Kurt & Joey's thread on USH a few months back.
I know nothing about production, essentially, but over the last year your sound, and just the general quality of it, has improved loads. Just keep doing what you're doing man.
Maybe try and ask one of the guys that also give out a few freebies if they'd collab with you? Might see how other people do things, could learn a few things. Like Audio Warfare and Darts for example - they give out quite a lot of freebies, and I love the sound of their productions. Could be interesting if they could spare the time.

Don't know how I missed this. That'd be nice to do, I just never have the time these days to commit to a project. This summer I swear, I'll be like a production machine. I'll look into collabs with some larger names and perhaps try for a few freeform labels. I reckon there's options available :)
