Not that the former ones sucked, but in here I havn't really found one mix, where I faced difficulties to listen to the end of it at any point. Every single one has its unique sound and speciality.
1) I didn't like the dubstep influences, but it wasn't overdone. I enjoyed listening to the calming sound of breakbeat right as the appetiser.
2) Due this music gets played in my favorite club most of the time, I am used to it and it really gave me a break in between the more hardcore-orientated mixes. And it made me wanna dance quite often.
3) Now this was the biggest surprise to me. I didn't expect Electro-Industrial/Aggrotech to sound this good (I knew a few tracks before, but I have never heard a mix before). Sometimes it reminded me of Dark Trance (like f. e. Schwarze Puppen). Noticing a couple of German lyrics made it even more interesting. It probably must be the most difficult case of conscience to present such a genre at 7D, but it really worked very well tmo.
4) A lot of good Hardcore tracks are included in here. I knew quite a bunch of them before, because they have been bumped by the persons, who are involved in them, but it doesn't disqualify or weakens them at all. Actually I was quite hit by surprise by the Gabba ending - I didn't expected that.
5) Now this was the most interesting mix tmo. Rich in variety, stuffed with great tunes, loved the Gabba part at the end and nearly pissed myself while listening to "Rule Britannia" at the end. DMS: I now pronounce you and Jay man and wife.
6) Fantastic Freeform set, Stray. I barely have known any of these tracks before. The only thing I disliked was the transition from the first to the second track. I think both tracks are too individual to fit together.
7) Awesome Gabba set here! No monotonous stamping, no annoying Terror stuff. This is how I like my Gabba. I can't stop laughing every time I listen to "Oh My Sun". Big thanks to Bluecore for showing me for the first time.
Thats the most in-depth review I have ever read for 7D. Thank you so much! I am really glad you enjoyed it that much!

Glad you liked it, and happy to show you some different Freeform styles :). I was originally just going to do a completely UK based newer Freeform sound mix, but decided to mix up styles and chuck some older stuff in too.
As for the 1st mix, I knew from the start I wanted to use Sin 4 Me as the opener, and in hindsight maybe should have mixed something between that and Unforgettable Hope, though I knew both tracks had to be used in the mix :).
Cheers heaps for the feedback too :)

He's done it! He's finally listened to Deano's mix!
Superb mate. Original opening and ending. Loads of tracks I haven't heard, and never would find on my own accord. Extremely fine mixing, and very well balanced and sequenced.
The boy's done well!!

Oh mate, i don't know what to say! So glad you managed to listen. Even though you're too nice to be overly critical i still needed to know if you liked it.
God, how gay does that sound?

Ha ha, yes, incredibly gay! Why don't you go spend some time in the what-used-to-be-MILFs-thread-but-is-now-a-DILFs-thread!
