So, i was messing around on the wife's netbook trying to sort some tunage for a quick mix and was thinking it was getting late, don't want to be too noisy etc..... It was then i spotted the little desktop icon saying 'Virtual DJ'. Now, before you all run away in terror to listen to Gisbo's album, please hear me out!
I thought to myself, 'mmm.....what if'? So i made a playlist, and pressed 'record' (yes Jay, there's a record function in VDJ) then started playing Russian roulette with a load of new tunes i'd hardly listened to.
I know i'm not really selling this too well but apart from a few clangs it's not all that bad, honest! Managed to fit Breakbeat Hardcore, Makina, Upfront, Freeformy, cheesy and even a bit of Nu-style in there. Managed around 25 tracks in 70mins.
Download
http://www.mediafire.com/?l8agx772kuy9up3 It's a pretty massive file size to download cos i went for high quality (in the sound at least), but i will add a Mixcloud link too when i get a chance. And here it is! http://www.mixcloud.com/The_D/look-no-headphones-mix/ Anyone with at least a tiny sense of humour should enjoy the first minute or so, so PLEASE, even if you only listen to that bit, give it a whirl. The title may just give it away slightly but don't let that put you off. Enjoy my lovelies!

Yes, yes, I know that now, thank you very much Dean.
This is good work. The tracklist as a whole is a bit too hard and twisty for me, but not so much so that I didn't enjoy it. I always like listening to other people's mixes, because you're forced to listen to tracks that you initially may not have liked, but after having another listen, you come around to them. Prime example - The Nerve Centre. Really, really didn't fancy it when I heard a clip on SoundCloud a few days ago. Then someone played it on Krafty the other night, and now you've played it as well. Really coming round to it! Think that'll go on the list for my return purchases.
Splendid work considering the resources. And thoroughly enjoyed the intro!
I'll let you know what the Chef makes of it later ;-)
