Happy New Year!
Really nice to see and talk to so many of you out and about on NYE and at all the events we played over the festive season! It's actually quite surreal to think that its 2011 - only four years away from being 'The Future' as it was in 'Back To The Future'. Not a flying car in sight though! Nevermind, who wants a Dolorean or power laces when you can buy more top notch music from HU?
First off, many thanks to the hundreds of people who have already ordered the Fracus & Darwin 'Balancing Act' artist album. If you want further information on the 15 exclusive (DJ friendly!) tracks and how to order the CD then you can head on over to:
http://www.hardcoreunderground.info/ Digital release (bundled and individual) of all 15 of these titles will follow in the coming months. Right here, right now however, we have 6 new single releases for you, once again covering a range of styles, as we finally make available some long (and some not so long!) awaited gems from our previous album projects. You can pick them up exclusively from trackitdown.net at the usual price. HUDIGI022A: Nu Foundation - Wizzy (http://www.trackitdown.net/genre/hardcore/track/2955786.html) Featured on the seminal 'Hardore Underground 3' album and has received DJ support from Brisk & Ham, Sharkey, Fracus & Darwin amongst others. Tight driving percussion, uplifting melodies and trademark production quality from Ireland's finest Hardcore export. HUDIGI022AA: Nu Foundation - Wizzy (Darwin Remix) (http://www.trackitdown.net/genre/hardcore/track/2955792.html) Darwin gets his hands on Nu Foundation's Westbam relick, and toughens things up with chopped beats, frantic arpeggios and thumping beats and basslines. Both mixes of this track have been hammered by the HU crew (and beyond) in the last year or two and finally get a deserved release. HUDIGI023A: Gammer & Chwhynny - Continental Breakfast (http://www.trackitdown.net/genre/hardcore/track/2955794.html) This track featured on the first ever Hardcore Underground compilation, way back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth (well... 2006!). DJ support was across the board for this retro influenced anthem, as Essential Platinum badboy Gammer teamed up with the Dutch woman herself. Breakbeats, stabs, pianos and intricate programming mean this track is still just about worth the wait! HUDIGI023AA: DJ Magical Feat. Lisa Abbott - Rush Hour (Chwhynny Remix) (http://www.trackitdown.net/genre/hardcore/track/2955796.html) One of the biggest vocal covers of the late 90's gets a re-lick from Chwhynny. Modern production techniques and programming combine with retro-infused sample choices and synth work to do this uplifting Hardcore anthem justice. Check it out! HUDIGI024A: Nu Foundation - In Your Head (http://www.trackitdown.net/genre/hardcore/track/2955798.html) Fresh from his huge 'It's Not Me' and 'Drifting Away' releases on HU late last year, two more of Nu Foundation's strongest productions find their way to release starting with the massive 'In Your Head'. Everything that is great about modern Hardcore, and one of the most catchy samples of recent years. This track has been hammered to pieces by the likes of Sharkey & Kev Energy, as well as Brisk, Fracus & Darwin and Entity to name but a few. "I found love in the music". HUDIGI024AA: Nu Foundation - Open Your Heart (http://www.trackitdown.net/genre/hardcore/track/2955800.html) One of the most popular instrumental outings on the 'Hardcore Underground 4' compilation CD, this melodic, string laden masterpiece finds its way to release after 12 months in many a DJ's setlist. Musicality and intricate programming combine to great effect with the trademark Nu Foundation production quality to create this trance influenced track. Check it! There will be many more releases from us soon, including the digital rollout of the Fracus & Darwin album. We also have more events planned this year (starting in March) which are going to be bigger and better than ever, as well as more album projects in 2011 than even we would have thought possible a few years ago. This IS the year where we raise the bar on everything we do. Thank you so much for your support!
