Fact: A lot of people don't know where to digitally buy hardcore.
Well, What is it?
Hardcore connection is a digital hardcore directory. It lists all the various mp3 stores that can be found on the web.
Goals?
We hope that this website will inform the masses about all the different places you can buy your hardcore from.
I knew already?
That's good, now you can delete all of them from your browser favorites list & just add us.
Why use it?
We will keep it up to date so you can keep track of the digital hardcore stores.
URL?
www.hardcoreconnection.com
Anything else?
Get on it!

Bastard!
If you want me to remove my bookmarks, you better link directly to the hardcore pages instead of each site's frontpage :P... unless their hardcore-only

I was thinking about doing that. If the store changed the link to that section for some reason the link would go down but this was they are always up.
I still may link directly to the hardcore section of the store. What does everyone think?

i think u should consider removing the itunes square/link
it doesn't provide a search engine or immediate previews to a list of hardcore songs, labels or artists. i like the rest of the page tho!
have you talked to the individual websites about paid advertisements?
also i might be getting ahead of everything but what about a possible search engine for your site that can give you results on which websites actually sell the song the person is looking for?
again, great concept man! this site can save a lot of time to consumers!

The websites would not allow me to add a search function as it will reduce traffic to some sites depending on the search results.
I didn't think about paid advertisements from each site. I may give it a shot!
I think iTunes should stay as it is still a place where you can buy hardcore.

I also think you should link to the hardcore index's of the sites shown. If the links change them websites should have an automatic 404 error system in place to deal with that and you could add a button on your site asking if someone has found a broken link in which you could update and fix.
Ps I'm not sure many, if anyone would use the google search at the botton looking to find adverts to be honest...

I will link to the hardcore sections (if possible) of each site.
The google ads was meant to be a link set but turned into a ad search? Will modify that soon.

One suggestion I have, maybe add vinyl sites as well, or make a sister site for it. This site can be a very useful tool for the guys (like me) that mix digital and would be very useful to have a site for the vinyl guys too.

That may come a little later on.
Also, I have now changed all links (where possible) so they go to the hardcore sections of each site instead of the homepage.

that might be harder, since i think more store sells vinyl (new or 2nd hand). Should he add the whole discogs marketplace? =P
Anyways, Discogs has digital sales now too, and I think some hardcore artists have added some tracks there (Quosh is usually fast to add to small sites).
btw, Tunes4DJ (tunes4djs.com) has a few hardcore, but has mainly makina.
I also think you should try to categorize the shops... like a section for
Multiple Genre's (Track it down, IMOdownload,juno...)
Hardcore specific (Hardbeat, Serious Sounds, Slammin Vinyl, CLSM Jon Doe)
Labels (NextGen/Blatant,Quosh, TnC,JAL)

i wouldnt worry so much about vinyl, most of us know where to buy it as we've been buying it for decades :P
mp3's i think its well worth it, especially as more stores crop up and get spread out - as people set up there own etc etc
if anything the vinyl stores will decrease, leaving only the major outlets

Discogs has quite a few digital hardcore releases, Neat!
Thanks for the new stores. I'll add them asap.
Categories is a brilliant idea. I will default it to all, then the user can choose.
Only issue is eg. serious sounds has other genres but is considered hardcore only for the most part.
I think if vinyl was added, for the most part it would link to the sale of new vinyl.
Plenty to get stuck into!
If you have a blog, a website or any form of communication please tell everyone about the website!
Thanks stray for the mention in your blog. :)
