Quite allot of distortion on there mate at the melody. I believe it may be clipping.. It is a nice remix, but it does lack that energy that the original had, and I'm not really sure how you can improve that :/ The original semmed to have an all round slight reverb, your lead sounds a little too factory to me

Its good but I agree with the distortion thing, you have to clean that up
