I was at Devastation2 in Cardiff the other week and was really disappointed. The music they were playing sounded like speeded up trance and didn't sound anything like the hardcore I've been listening to for years. I know trance is popular but hardcore and trance are two different things so I don't know why so many people have started playing this crap new Hardcore Trance. Anyway I was so annoyed by this that I have completely stopped listening to crappy hardcore and deleted 1400 mp3's off my computer with no regrets. Now I'm going to start looking for real music which doesn't all sound the same, has different beats and is not 99% computer generated crap. Most hardcore artists can't even play live. And I'm not even going to talk about the cheesey mc's.

95% of music produced these days comes from mixing desks and computers ....
Just because you don't like hardcore anymore doesn't mean you have to now try and convince everyone not to like it... go listen to whatever else you want to it doesn't bother me and it shouldn't bother you ...

It's a close friend of mine that helps run Devastation wiv Wotsee n i'm gutted i missed it. Don't tell me it was crap. I know its not how it used 2 b, i prefer the vibes from 98-2000 but i do like a lot of the new stuff especially the Raver Baby releases.
Trancecore isn't my favourite but give it time n i'm sure the faze will pass!

Your talking sh*t coz i was at Devestation 2 and the hardcore didn't sound like trance u stupid f*cker u must have been in the hard house room thinking that u were in the hardcore room u daft pr*ck. The only dj in the hardcore room that showed a little resemblance of trance was Kevin Energy.
