if only the right-wing conservative sheep of america would pay attention to these articles instead of sucking up every bit of propaganda their government feeds them.
(i am not referring to all americans, just the popular opinion of americans which keeps these things how they are)

it's sad how true things are and how little it would take to change thigns but so much bs is in the beauorcracy (sp?) of america and getting votes and fighting for the american cuase rah rah rah

Not get too deeply involved in the political side of things, but surely a great deal of people in the USA take drugs (even if its just cannabis) & surely these peole should know to vote for a silghtly less hardline Government as this stance has improved nothing long term.

the government in this country are about to relax the laws regarding cannabis for personal use, i'm not clear exactly what changes will be made and how it will effect us yet, but i think the general idea is to free the coppers up to do some real policing rather than spending all their time arresting everyone who has a couple of joints worth in their pocket, just imagine the hours of paperwork that will be saved!!!!!

Ronin-they've downgraded Cannabis a class so now you can only get a coution for a small amount (possession) though in effect this means they'll ignore the majority of users, however the police have strict guidelines to still arrest people if they're making a "big deal" of smoking it, for example "you cant arrest me copper!-while blowing pot smoke in his face!" Still this is a step in the right direction.
