OK as u can tell from the title, this is only a sample, i know that there is a lot missing from this track.
Some things that I think need work:
- The bass line needs something (not sure what)
- The main synth line needs something as well.
Suggestions are always appreciated.

Well its not like you posted much, but to answer your questions, the bass is missing the bottom end of the spectrum. No oomph to it, gotta make it match with the kick (although with that kick, you're better off just throwing it out and finding something better imo). Same goes with the lead. You might want to layer it with another synth, or use the same synth but just copy/paste the same melody in a different octave.
I guess the point is: Make things sound bigger than they really are haha.

yea, i hear ya. but its just in its beginning stages. but thanks for the input... if it helps at all im using Logic Express.

I like the melody, you got something going on with it :)
as you say, there a lot of work to do. agree with what was said about the kick, you need a new sample, or edit this one, maybe distorting it?
I would said you develope it more and then post it again

Again with the bumping after only just posting. Take it easy, the majority of people on this site (i think) are from Britain. When you posted it was 3am here, most people are tucked up in bed then. Relax.
The track needs work, you know this. I dont know what Logic Express is or how it's different to Logic, but if it's holding you back from making proffesional sounding music then upgrade.
