How many people get paid to DJ Hardcore on here? And how many people on here get paid to DJ other music other than Hardcore & how many get paid to do different types of music?

i think you'll find that most DJs on this site get paid when they spin out at raves and clubs and whatnot...

I don't get paid for mixing Hardcore yet... But I do get paid for spinning Prog. House. I gave Simon Apex my demo last week, lets see if he's going to book me for an event soon .

depends on the people throwing it and/or if it is a charitable event. it's nice to get paid on occassion but there will be times you'll wind up being screwed by the production company. it's always a good idea to try and find out about the people who you will be playing for/paying your way...

Any respectable dj that has a following should be paid
If you bring in say... 10 ppl to come see you...and its $15.00 cover charge... than thas 150 bux in the promoters pocket...u should get a cut of that.
I dont always ask for alot if i see the promoter has suffered that event. I usually just ask for enuf to pay for gas, but if the event does well i want pay in full. Dont get me wrong... we are all in it for the right reason.... and god knows i love hardcore more than anyone, but still it can be expensive...specially considering the amount of records i go thru in a set! As well as the shipping i gotta pay to get my crates full :)
that is all for now :) thank u

yeah, same here. usually if the party isn't that big i'll just ask for like gas money. when i started out i just played to be heard, i didn't care if i got payed or not. i played to get the music heard.
