can anyone help me?
I want to record my sets as digital files onto my mac and have no idea how to do it
which is the best file format to record as?
can i do it without forking out for expensive software?
also how do you put an icon next to your name on this site?
(I know I need an L plate)

hey ronin,
erm i have no clue how ya do it but i take it it would be a wav file and if you need software for free.. heres a few sites to aid you..
www.overdrive.com.au - look under the links they have alot of free dj software links there
www.warez.com - everything is free here, but beware of the pop ups they kinda love staying on your system, but then if you have a thing for porn forget what i just said..
erm i cant think of anything else at the present moment, but if ya need anymore help, buzz me ill hook you up with a few of me mates online im sure theyd help you out..

hmm i dunno if i done more good then harm with that post.. lol just realised your on a mac, ermm shouldnt make a huge difference..

Incase anyone is interested, i found what i was looking for on a site called hitsquad.com.
it has a very large music software section with tools for everything, well worth a look if you want to use your pc to create or record something.
