K we all want something for free right? Well i think im gonna take the piss abit but hell its worth a try!! Does anyone know of ANY places u can broadcast over the net for free , it dunt matta to me if its only an hour free a week or summat daft!! Or am i like i thought asking a lil' too much?
Ive always loved the idea of running a radio showwiv purely hardcore and maybe hard dance. Aload of us have got the internet so we cud do shows regulary and we all love teh music so motivation is no probz!
If there arnt any free ones how much is it?

yeah just download the shoutcast plugin and the dnas server
start the server then open winamp then go to preferences then plugins and select the shoutcast plugin.
(make sure you have put the shoutcast plugin in your winamp plugins folder,ya know by going in to program files and finding the winamp folder its easy enough)
on the shoutcast plugin window go to the yellow pages button and
change the yellow pages settings to include your radio station name and things. then press conect then start playing music.
the hardest thing is finding out your ip address for other poeple to play the radio.
but you can do what i did cus i didn't know how to stop my ip address from changing each time i logged on the internet. so i just made a link to the shoutcast radiostations list website which is (www.shoutcast.yp) on my website and on these forums
and just told the poeple to find my station in the list,of course you must tell them what its called make sure its called the same thing all the while from then.
easy enough
any question just ask
or just learn yourself through trial and error thats how i did it.
OH AND IF U GET STUCK THERE ARE PLENTY OF DECENT GIUDES TO MAKING A SHOUTCAST STATION ON THE INTERNET.
these will tell you everything you need to know but will still be as confusing as mine.

how to find your ip address on windows 95/98
got to start then run
type in winipcfg
your ip address will come up on the second box down
