Hi all!
Nice to see I'm not the only one who likes this stuff ;)
The radio feature is damn groovy but I keep getting gaps. Anyone got any ideas as to how I can improve the playback quality from my end?
I've got Winamp, P3-500, 256Mb, Win98.
Thanks!

No real chance, it gets gaps coz of net congestion. Unless u can get your hands on some software that forces through everyone else.

Bazza: What speed internet connection do you have? Are you doing anything else while listening to the radio (eg. downloading something). Have you tried both the 24K stream and the 56K streams? Do they both give you gaps?

56k (through NTL)
no - closed all programs (except ICQ)
I tried both with very similar results...
(although if you look at the URL targeted by the 24k and 56k, its the 56k that has the word 'lowband' in it and not the 24k....)
thanks
is it possible to get mp3 versions of some tracks or it is kinda illegal? I have lost Hixxy's CD on Bonkers 3.... thanks

If you are at 56K then the 56K should work and the 24 will definatly work. Either you are not connecting with your modem at 56K or you have a crappy ISP, or both.
Sorry I do do MP3's.

hi
figured out what the problem was... I didn't have the playlist showing so I didn't notice this:
Winamp keeps a list of everything you play, starts at the top, but adds anything new to the bottom, hence the lack of response to trying the lowband. IT was still playing the 56k. D'oh.
Thanks for the help guys!
