if it's gotta b helter skelter then depends how u like ur hardcore:)
For anthems such as heacen is a place on earth and heart of gold etc try Helter Skelter IMAGINATION 96/97
Or for the more "summery stuff" i.e Sunshine, Follow teh sun " etc try Helter Skelter Strings Of Life.
For a mix of jungle/ d n b / Hardcore get the energy 96 red pack ( teh yellow is all hardcore)
If not helter skelter buy Hardcore Heaven the Return 96 even if the asking price is £30 coz i aint seen it nowhere and it's thje best goddam tape pack i've ever had the pleasure of hearing and ive heard a feckin lot.

I agree with midway_raver, it really depends on how you like your hardcore. An alternative to "Strings of Life" is "Progression" which are both from the same year (well, progression is the 1997/1998 NYE bash). The Hixxy tape on it is stomping, I know people who aren't really into hardcore but have given me blank tapes to copy it onto!
