Hi, this question has no doubt been asked a million times and I apologise if it has or if it is in the wrong section. I just want to know how you can put samples from vinyl onto a pc. Is there any special program? Thanks a lot.

Theres a good bit of programs out there for pc sampling. first you gotta see how your sound card works and how you can hook your tables into it. I had to buy an adapter for audio(stereo/phono) to a regular phones jack to plug into my sound card. I hear good things about Reason for sampling.
And questions like these should prob be stated in the gear section, but dont worry bout it! [;]

Hey I just hooked my a wire from my Line in spot on my soundcard to the rec. spot on my mixer and i record all my stuph. Great for critiquing and shiot
