Just had a thought that could get a bit more people talking about music and mixes on the forum and use the radio more.
If you were to run a "Mixtape" competition every month or so for hhc.com members, votes made by silver himself or board members, and the winner gets to do a live set on the radio show?

i think that'd be awesome to have a competition, even if it was just for a monthly winner title under your username or something of that nature!
would definitely be on board for something like that

I'd be up for the mix competition part but I don't think I could handle a live internet set as a prize as that is beyond my computer capabilities

Good point there dave, maybe for people who dont know how to set it up they could just record a set and upload it and have it played while the live shows are on?
Good to see there are a few people think its a good idea :)

good idea! i'd enter, probably wouldn't have a chance of winning it myself but it'd definaitley be intresting to hear other peoples styles of mixin. and a little friendly competition never hurt anyone. why not have the winning set played on the radio show as a prize?

Sounds interesting but I already listen to a bunch of mixes every month for the radio, 80% of them make the cut :)
