Why? :(
What track you talking about, everyone i no who likes them likes different stuff. Only really hardcore dj's who keep playin the same couple of them all the time.
I do think there productions cool and squeaky clean, definitely meant more people that dont normally like drum n bass enjoy it.
But it just isnt what im looking for most the time, a lot, lot better dnb out there imo

I'm talking about Slam, which seems to be their favorite track amongst everyone.

pffft they've had better releases/remixes than slam...I would of figured tarantula would be the overplayed song =P
their remix of submarines, tonite, & pack of wolves = awesome

Slam got played every where over here. Irritates the hell out of me know. Their remix of Voodoo People is another that's been played to death. Although I still love the first 30 secs or so of that.
The success of Hold your colour has brought DnB to a new audience but they have also alienated people by their attempts to distance themselves from DnB (That's how it appears to me anyway)

pendulum have tried to incorporate more of a rock feel in their productions, hence why dnb purest don't care for them
to quote someone hit the button above their post that looks like piece of paper with an arrow pointing to it. the tags are [ quote] [/ quote] w/o the spaces in the bracket

yeah they have more of a commercial sound, alot of their live performances have guitarists, bassists and even drum kits at their performances ... i couldnt really care for them much either, i prefer pure dnb, i dont like how they are commercialising dnb. as for DOA, tha guys on that forum are people i try to avoid ... alot of losers, making fun of the way dieselboy dressess/looks to him.

I first heard of Pendulum in 2003 when they released the absolute smasher of a choon called Vault. Been listening to them ever since. Bought the album Hold Your Colour & got a fair amount on vinyl too. This trio burst onto the D&B scene in a big way & have been big ever since.
