get a pair of CDJ-100s on ebay for 200 pounds
and a far superior mixer to the one integrated in that thing for like 50 pounds (used)

The first link you put up I wouldn't buy, mainly because it's an all in one unit. The best thing about seperates is the fact that you can swap & change the parts you don't like, with a built in system your generally stuck with what you've got.
The mixer...erm....no. You wan't a mixer with EQ's for a start!!

Trouble with buying a second hand mixer is the channels might bleed.

Buy new faders then.
They range from £25-£100 (A new cross fader for mine is £90 or £45 depending on which type i get. The one thats £90 is supposed to last minimum 5,000,000 passes)

True, but you might end up having to pay more for the fader than for the mixer itself.

umm...just buy a mixer that doesn't have shitty faders?
I've gotten multiple used mixers for cheap in the past and no faders have been messed up
but I have a Nuo 5 now and it's rated for 20,000,000 passes :P
..and it wasn't used
but most of my other mixers were used

to be honest mate it doesnt matter what you buy for the first time if its cheap, buying mid range gear is completly pointless cause you will only want propper gear if you get good. buy cheap second hand gear first, if you like dj.n then save up and get some technics (or cdjs..) and a propper mixer
