So What was it? Was his contract up or did they think Hardcore was just not Good enough? Also why didnt they have diferent djs do the series like the essential mixES? I mean im sure Frisky or Spree or any good hardcore dj (SIMON APEX would have been my first choice) could have done it just as good probably if not better. So my next question if other djs did the HTBH series wich ones from america do u think could have threw it down the best?
1: SIMON APEX
2: FRISKY
3: SPREE
Those are my picks number 1 being who i think would have been the best.
So let me know what u think.

I think frolic did a pretty good job with the happy to be hardcore mixes. I thought that just the happy to be hardcore series was done, he wasn't done with moonshine or doing mixes for them. I haven't checked his site in a while but I believed that frolic was due for another release on moonshine.

austin is right, frolic has completed the h2bh series BUT he's still under contract to make another cd with moonshine.

I can undestand that Anabolic Frolic's talent may be in question.
Personally, I used to think he was a god until I started buying records and spinning. And in a few cases, I've even had records 3 months before him.
He's only put out like, 3 or 4 originals, on his albulms. And he hasn't been to the us in a very long time to do any promoting or any such thing. So, yes, maybe he has lost some respect. And yes I do feel that somebody, maybe even me coud've taken his place.
However, he deserves a hell of a lot of respect. Happy Hardcore would not have come this far if (in the beginning) he hadn't gotten that deal with Moonshine. he's done a lot for the scene. he's found a way to mix the underground with the masses. He's increased awareness, and helped promtoe the scene for as long as I can remember. My first cd I ever bought was Happy 2b hardcore chapter 1. Though there may be better talent now, we can't disrepect, or deny the efforts of our heros before us.
