I was listening to the Amen break and I wanted to use it's rythm with other sounds so I have programmed the loop as midi. I thought I would share it, as it may help with learning to programme breaks.
Link: http://www.ihud.com/file.php?file=030506/1146670026/Amen Break Midi Groove.mid The first track has the whole part and is made for general midi (but you not gonna use that right?), and the rest are for use with a sampler and their named acording to the drum hit. It's just a basic straight groove, so if you want it to sound like it was played by a real drummer, you'll have to tweak the timing and velocity's.
