made it cheaper :)
that cpu is still v good and you can always upgrade to dual core when they drop in price. 1 gb of ram that can be updated later too (you will have to sell the two 512 sticks and replace with two 1gb sticks for the dual channel to work

when buying a PC you should always look towards the Cache.Its the fastest part of the memory.
