Holy crap. My friend and I just decided to go to Bonkers 2 in Los Angeles, CA. We live in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Does everyone here think it's a good idea?
It will be my first party...

It's roughly 1924.92 miles, which is about a 36 hour drive according to mapquest.com (I think that's BS, more like 30 hrs)
My friend and I are REALLY into HHC. What type of music does the majority of the following DJ's play?
Fade
Bananaman
Paulina Taylor
Lostboy
Mindcontroller
Dutchboy
Smileshot

you're nucking futs. furthest i ever drove for a party was like 15 hrs. if it was me, i would want my first party to be a fairly local one.
that way you can meet people that live near you, or atleast some what near you. instead of people you will probably never see again =P

Personally I think that's kinda ridiculous especially since you have some awesome parties coming up that are much much closer to you. I'm not even considering going and LA is less than 8 hours away for me. All the dj's there are happycore dj's and I'm sure if would be fun but I don't think you realise what a financial investment that trip would be. 3 entire days of driving to and from it for 8 hours of happycore? What if your car breaks down along the way? Check out http://www.entice.nu/ for what's looking to be an incredible party that's much much closer to where you live.

also keep in mind mapquest usually has you driving like 55mph. the lineup is fairly decent for hhc, some dutch gabber/hhc might be played from some of them. i really don't think the lineup is that incredible to drive that far for it, then spend probably $30+ at the door.

Actually, I've already emailed spree, but he hasn't written back. 
Well, my car is a 96, and in EXCELLENT condition. I think I would make it.
On the other hand, you're right, it IS a long drive.
Any other opinions?

Bonkers 2 will be phatty. But mate that's an insaine drive. I could understand if you were going to LA for Electric Daisy Carnival which will be in June (last year i mc'ed there and there were 6 stages and 25,000 people. In the hardcore area was Ron D Core, Lost Boy, Simon Apex, Hixxy, Robbie Long, Devestate, MC Charlie B...) I would hold off on the west coast excursion a little longer. Plus, higher 2 in Lexy is coming up. Plus May 11th in Dayton Ohio there is Kandi-land with mad hardcore coming. Adrian

Hey....I think it's a good idea to drive out to LA. :) I mean, how often can you see Fade and Bananaman live? :) Well, maybe I'm being biased 'cause I'm from LA and actually spinning at the event. Hehehehe.....

thank god the uk isn't as big as the us,and where i'm from,slap bang in the middle,furthest drive is to cornwall or the highlands in scotland,which is about a 9 hour drive either way :)
