Sure thing.
First I get a mixer going from the Reason hardware interface. Then I make an NN19 sampler, and load the sample in there.
Is that what you've done?

to add to what ry ry said. when adding a sample there are 2 places to load it.
sampler:
---Patch Load----///----Sample Load-------------
--o-o-o-----------///[.......................]------------
--o-o-o-----------///[ |||||||||C|||||||]------------
---------o-o-o----///[.......................]------------
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------
make sure you load the sample in the sample slot as loading in the patch slot wont produce any sound.
think patch for presets (how you changed the sample)
and the sample load for what you want to alter and use
hope that helps.

mmm im gettin samples nicely but i've anrowed down what i thinks happening. the first mixer has the light beside 'audio card' lit. i can only assume that means theres no audio card, which means no sound
another bit, i kinda lost where the two wires from teh reddrum send out go... both spots 1 and 2 ...
on another note, i vaguely understand what you both said, i've never even see a program like this before, let alon use it... so be patient :P
and if any of you got teamspeak it'd be tight if you'd drop onto me server and sort soem stuff out :P jsut pm me an ill get ya teh info (its priv so only if you're cool :P)

think with reason when you get it,you have to assign an audio output...whether it be an external or ur internal card...cant remember tho as i dont use it....
try that tho

Start off with an empty rack, then the first thing to do is create a mixer. Then when you create synths or samplers the audio output be auto routed to that mixer and you should have sound.
The send ouputs from the redrum will be auto routed the the chain sends of the mixer (Channels 1+2) If you create a redrum below the mixer and, providing that they are allready not in use (like when having 2 mixers).
