Hey, I just joined these forum after snooping for a few months. Anyway, to my point, Ive been digitally producing hardcore for about 2 years and am at a point where I have a collection (20+) of production-worthy songs, and a vast collection of self-made samples, effects, etc. Now its time for my big leap...can anyone with experience here point me in the right direction to where I can have these songs mastered and pressed/recorded.
It probably sounds like I've just been making music in my own little cave, completely obliveous to how these things work in the REAL world, and thats exactly it! Now, can someone help me out? Or tell me how im rediculous im being :)

Sending demos to record companies?
Sean Apollo has one started, you might want to ask him
It really depends on what kind of music you have produced =)
Someone else should follow/continue from here, or correct me

You either need a vinyl cutter, costs shit loads of money. Start a label and press using pressing companys. Or like Roberticus said, send demos (CD-R) to labels that release similar type of music and hope for the best.

If you do send demos make sure you post the same cd to yourself before sending it to any labels by some kind of recorded post a keep it sealed. That way if anybody steals any of your ideas you have proof that you made it first.

Thanks for the link, the dubplate is good for pressing my tracks for exclusive use, but my long term plan is my own production company (pressing records en masse) but I think for the time being pressing about 4 or 5 dubplates would be good, I gotta lot of tracks that need to be heard by the hardcore audience here in LA, because everyone who has heard my music swears up and down I have succeeded in creating my own sub-genre of hardcore. I just need to upload a few of my tracks for u guys, but I'm still stuck on 56k so...blah. But I'll let y'all know when my tracks are pressed so u can contribute (hopefully) to the "Broke-ass-DJ/Producer-needs-a-new-DJM 909 Fund" :)

THIS DOESNT WORK!!!!!
some dude just lost his lawsuit with brittany spears cuz he wrote the song "Satisfaction" he applied this "poor mans" copywrite, and it was declared invalid in court.
also.. im not completely sure for where you are but in Austrailia copywrite laws are concidered invalid if 10% of the product is changed from the oridginal
i believe its 20% in the U.S but im not completely sure about there, or here in Canada.
so if they really wanted to they just g2 remix :(

source for the brittany spears thing = Calgary Sun, i read the article 2 days ago thought it was funny
and the copyrright law was from an Austrailian company that used 2 make kits for Fiero's. it got shut down for violating copyright laws (site stated they had changed only 5% of the lamboghini murcielago skin, not the 10% required by law) and the U.S copyright number was just heresay, which is why i stated that im not completely sure. A friend of mine told me that cuz i was getting pissed off at people who used 2 steal the website theme's i made in photoshop and i wanted to go after them. they changed roughly 1/4 the theme, and i was told it was concidered legal and there was nothing i could do.
