where can i find a program for purchase that would allow me to timestretch vocals? any valid ideas would be great.

Two thumbs up for Prosoniq Time Factory.
To the point, no nonsense, and has I believe one of the best timestreching algorithms out there.
It probably isn't cheap though.

u can get the bpm of most samples by just using a mouse click beat counter. get the bpm and then type the original bpm into the program and the end bpm and then its timestretched.
i like cubase timestretch feature...
all u need is cubase and not all these external appz
