Hi All,
I kind of need a favour concerning my vinyl collection..
I was never able too record any of my mixes because i was always working on a budget + it wasn't essential too do so,now because being a DJ is a exspensive & also time consuming hobby i sold my decks on,but i stored all my vinyl away(50 recs)..
so i'm looking for really a true fan of the genre too help me out & do a recording or two of what vinyl i have(not all but a substantial percentage),of course i'm willing too pay for the recordings done but it depends on wether it will be recorded onto CD or TAPE,CD would be the more perferable though,i would of thought that if only 1 recording was done then 10 or so pounds would be acceptable or if multiple recordings were done then around 6 or 7 for each one!
of course it would help if one had decent decks so the mix would be as near too industry par mixing as possible,and i guess everyone has there own way of mixing,i always perferred too bring in a new tune at least two too three times,with the fadar being used as too how complex the beats were,the more simplistic the beats the less the fadar is used etc..
i would perfer too be present when the mixes were being completed as i'm sure nobody can be too complacent when it comes too trusting people outright!,also i don't really want too visit any estates as i do know what kind of communities can exsist in that enviroment & it is all non-too healthy..
i live in the outskirts of west london but it is not possible for anyone too visit me with decks,as if that would happen!,so it would just be me with my vinyl collection turning up on your doorstep i'm afraid...
i hope that someone in this community homeland can help me out as it would be very much appreciated,also swaps & sells would be contemplated,but i am quite picky as too what i bought in the past,my main sought after artists would be V.A.G.A.B.O.N.D./ DOUGAL & GAMMER/DJ HIXXY/DJ HAM/SCOTT BROWN...
I have about a dozen or so old skool style recs that i would want mixed along with a luna-c double album..and the main labels that i concentrated on buying were..
next generation
essential platinium
raver baby
evolution
kfa
i certaintly would be interested in hearing new scott brown releases & any new releases from the two labels that i mentioned,well i think thats everything,i'm not that young but please dont let that put you off as i respect the music & have never snubbed it as i know a lot of other people did in the 90's..
all i'm looking for is too keep the vibe of breakbeat hardcore alive but i just find any music scene as too time-consuming these days..

not sure what your askin but if you wana use our set up to mix a demo your more than welcome,
have 2mk5 1210's with tech's stylus, stanton smx501 mixer, behringer ub1002 for awt els u need to plug in and a decent pc to record on + cd-r.
also got b-band for uploads to hosts if your wanting to have your sets on the net.
only thing is were in huddersfield (sunny yorkshire) and u need to mix your own set to dipsplay your mixin ability. could mix it for ya but it doesent show what u can do.

ok thx,
i should of stated that the person in willing will have too live in & around the london area...
i don't need too demo or anything like that,and i could resort too a hardcore compilation but they always cut the tune way too short in my opinion..
wether they mix or i do is up too the person who owns the decks,but i need compedent decks otherwise no can do..
