hey guys,
um i was reading in a thread a while back someone reccomended a starter pack of some sort, decided i want to start spinning some vynils and need a beginner turntable setup, pitch controller etc... nothing too fancy just to have a play at the moment and try some track mixing. Does anyone have any ideas and rough prices??
thanks,

it really depends on how serious you are about getting into it. I would reconmend using someone elses equipment to really see if you like it before spending the money.

firstly if you have your own stereo that will save quite a bit of money. As for turntables and mixer you could buy a newmark batttle pack which come with 2 turntables and mixer. They on ebay for around $800au new.

If you are genuinly seriously and found you have a liking and you are willing to expand your budget, Technics 1200 will be $1000 each. THe numark crap just doesn't compare will the technics. For a decent startup mixer there is really alot to choose from, Pioneer Djm-300 is an example and that will be about $800. And on top of that you should be looking at spending over $200 on a decent pair of headphones
