I will be in the market for a pair of CD decks soon, and am wondering which ones to get. I have used the Pioneer CDJ-1000's several times, and I really enjoyed them. I have read press on the Technics SLDZ1200, but have never had the opportunity to use them.
Anyone here used the Technics? Anyone able to give a good comparison of the two?

between the two i'd go with 1000s. the techs are nice but there is a delay when scratching, the platter comes off easily and it is annoying to adapt to as the screen in the middle of the platter. the scratching sounds too "digital" on them. 1000s are also more of a standard in clubs.
you might check out the numark cdxs too.

Of course that is the other big advantage of the Pioneers.
Thanks for the info about the platter and scratching on the Techies. Looks like the 1000's are the way to go.
