I have heard from a few people that HappyHardcore.com is extreamly slow for UK / Australia visitors, like each pages takes 2 mins to load or something, I was just wondering if anyone has had problems like this?
it's all hardcore.

well the forums are wrking fine for me but the news page takes forever but everything else is fine for me :)
oh yer whenever i click off chat on ere my net page freezes and i have to open a new one dunno if its my pc or wot but jus let ya no

Did it for me yesterday once, was like that for about 15 mins. Basicly it just waited for the "response" for 2 mins, and after that loaded the page normally. So it didnt seem like the page loading time was slow, it just took 2 mins to start loading the page.

I'm not really talking one off's I am talking all the time... I guess if it was all the time those people would not be reading this... but has anyone heard of this problem perhaps from other people?

Yeah it is quite slow. I'm on 1500 kbps ADSL, so pages should virtually load instantly, but it takes a good 15-30 secs per page on average. Sometimes it will even take a full minute on a bad day.

2 min is a bit long. I've found it sometimes takes quite a while to load the news and the active topics. The page loads fine, it just hits a hurdle when it gets to loading up the news items. Possibly only 30secs though, not 2min. Active topics takes a similar length of time, but thats for the whole page to load. If its any help I'm on a network, and last time I checked internet bandwidth was about 6MBps+

Occasionally it's been a bit "chuggy" but nothing anywhere near 2 minutes! Sometimes getting into the forums from the front page can take 15-20 seconds.

yeah, i have 576kbps DSL and it takes like 5-10 times longer tan other sites to load

yeah takes 30secs sometimes to load active
front page sometimes around 10-15secs

I'm on 256/56K ADSL.
Its not that bad for me. Perhaps is just alot of Aussie machines are riffled with spyware?

Not mine. I run scans for spyware and virii every week, so it's HH.com that's running slow for me.

I don't think it's slow. But I have noticed that when it is slow, there is alot of people online.

you should upgrade to ADSL2, I will be in 6months when my plan runs out
