Just received this email through to Underloop Productions. Seeing as how none of us are London based as is required in the rules I thought I might as well post it up on here in case anybody is interested in entering. Please note the requirements at the bottom. You must be 18-35 and based in London.

Premio Napoli Music Remix
Object
The Tourism Department of the Naples City Council, as part of the promotion of the city of Naples in London, is promoting the NAPOLI MUSIC REMIX competition.
The Napoli Music Remix prize, best remix of the Neapolitan song "O' Sole Mio", is aimed at young DJs and music students in the city of London.
The aim of the competition is to create the best remix of Enrico Caruso's version of the song "O' Sole Mio", issued by Phonotype Records s.r.l.
The special version of "O' Sole Mio" is available on the Naples City Council's website (www.comune.napoli.it) and can be downloaded as an mp3 by anyone wishing to take part in the competition.
The remixed versions of the Neapolitan song will be listened to by a specialist jury who will then name the winner who will receive his/her prize in Naples, during an evening-long event.
The prize consists of a four-day trip to Naples for two people and the award of a special plaque of recognition.

Promoters
The competiton is being promoted by the l'Assessorato al Turismo del Comune di Napoli (Naples City Council Department of Tourism).
The competition is part of the Rete del Turismo - Viaggiare a Napoli project, financed with the resources of the POR Campania Misura 4.7, and judged by ATI tender made up of Raffaele Cercola & Partners srl, Monumedia srl, Pierreci Scarl, Interazioni & Innovazioni sr Oltremare Aironjet sas
Regulations
Terms and conditions of entry:
Entrants must be London-based and aged between 18 and 35.
The maximum length allowed for each remix is 5 minutes.
Each entrant may only enter one work.
Signing the enrolment form implies complete acceptance of the present regulations.
Participation in the competition is free.
To take part, it is necessary:
- to download the source file of the Enrico Caruso version of "O Sole mio" in mp3 format from the site www.comune.napoli.it
-to create a remix in mp3 format and send it together with the completed entry form to this address: [email protected].
Expiry date
The material can be sent from 10 / 05 / 2005 to the 28/10/2005.
Selection
At the end of the process a jury consisting of experts in the sector will choose the winning remix. The members of the jury will be announced later.
The decision of the jury is final and will be made known via a press release.
General Rules
The organisers reserve all rights relating to the use of the works sent without time limits, for production of printed, audiovisual and multimedia materials without financial benefit and only for promotional and archival aims.
Each entrant is asked to observe the rules of the competition carefully, at the risk of exclusion.
The present document is a complete description of the rules issued by the competition organisers.
Prize
Plaque of recognition awarded during an evening event in Naples.
2 London-Naples return air tickets, plus accommodation for 4 days for 2 people in Naples.
