Hi guys
I've been messing about on FL for some time now making drum and bass using loops and samples but now I want to try and make some hardcore tunes.
Having some trouble though as the drums and samples that came with the package don't really sound that good. What drum kits does everyone using FL on here use exactly? And what is the best synth tool to use, never used a synth on FL before so any help would be appreciated. I want to try and make a bouncy hardcore track if possible. Once I've got the basic sounds I should be ok with putting it all together.
Any help would be appreciated.

well i mostly sample my own kiks from other tracks then mess with them.
but try using more thn one drum sample and layer them u can get some wkd ones if u mess about enough.
the wasp and simsynth are very good vsts if you learn urself how to use them u get wicked sounds from them.
also get some more vsts like v station,vanguard,dsp,z3ta+,
all good for synths n bass

Wow, thanks MJ, that is a great help.
I see what you mean about layering the drums, they sound like I want them to sound now 
I'm just starting to learn the wasp and simsynth now.....
