I am sure other people have had the same problem so I'm sure someone will be able to help. On some records, the hole is too tight (ha) and so when I stop the record, the platter stops and so it is much harder to cue up. Any ideas peeps? Cheers.

seriously though, I tend to stick a pen through it and "twiddle" it round a bit.... usually does the trick. Don't go attacking it with a black and decker!!!

Oli G taught me the best method. Get a small sheet of not very rough sand paper, roll it up into a cylinder that will fit through the hole, and lightly twist it a few times. Works like a charm for me at least.
