Fu*king great game, ive had a go on the PC version.
Its scarier than any horror film ive seen, really sh*ts me up sometimes....

It's very pretty but lacks gameplay got bored half way though once you have walked down one dark corridor you have walked down them all.
Also those stupid pda's really anoyed me its just an extension of find the blue key!!!!
Sorry but was very dissapointed when i brought it. All the pc games mags liked it but I read edge after and would agree with them more!!

 My Ultimate favorite game of all time! I have the PC version but I'm gonna pick up the Xbox version being that it's my preference and I'm not so good playing on the keyboard, lol.
I still love Doom 2, does anyone remember that hidden hardcore room??? The music was <33333, I hope D3 has one as well :)

as far as gameplay goes.. you play the first 30 minutes, youve played the whole game
the last boss was just.. meh, i beat him with the shotty (best gun EVER) and the soul cube
graphics were awesome and the level of immersion was insane.. that is until you get used to it
HL2 > D3.
still, it scared the crap out of me at times which is rare for a video game
is anyone actually going to dish out the cash for the expansion?

Had the X-Box version.
Finished it over a couple of days and left feeling somewhat empty at the end.
Expected a lot more to be honest. Still a good game but played loads better ones recently.

The only good thing about the game was the eye candy. Granted it was more like an interactive horror movie, the game play lacked alot.
Thats not to knock the hard work that John Carmack did studying the physics of light, because the engine is awesome, but I think I prefer half life 2.

I prefer the double barrelled shotgun in the expansion pack 
I was really let down by the soundtrack on the game, was hoping for more than just ambience...but then again some of those samples are awesome 
prefer the pc version much more over the xbox since I can create my own maps =P
it's still fun to play deathmatches on doom and doom 2, brings back memories of playing on dialup listening to hardcore on a crappy tape deck

I'm not really sure why Halo generates so much excitement
i've played Halo 2 with a couple guys before but I think a LAN party is more fun...
I played the original Halo on my PC cause I got it free with my sound card and compared to other first person shooters it was... mediocre
to me playing a FPS on a console is just... awkward and limited
Unreal Tournament 2004 anybody? Half Life 2 DM? Tribes? I think those are how first person shooters should be done.

i played it and found it alrite bit samey but i don't care much for single player games on pc, if i did i wouldn't need a console
i play online games on internet like unreal tournament 2004, kick arse game

doom3 a really graphical and atmosperic game but pretty lame in gameplay...pretty straight forward the corridors lead obviously in one direction... its not challenging..
oh yea there's a new expansion as well but i havent played it..cald Ressurection Of Evil.. sounds spooky lol
a game many people like in australia is CS aka Counter-Strike.. i dont really like it i prefer quake 3 lol
