does anyone know of any good, advice/tutorials for the above subject, I have found some great stuff on www.serious-sounds.net but I was just wondering if anyone knew of anymore

Have a look around there. Also, checkout www.computermusic.co.uk they have some good tutorials.
There's a nice forum list on TPSH(^) so check them out, Forums are one of the best places for knowledge.

there was a sound on sound issue last year with mastering on your computer written on the front. cant remember the issue number but will find it at home so you can look for it on the sos back cat section.
very practical ad usefull stuff.
