As long as the samples you are using are Multi-samples, and they probably are comming from a refill, you wont have any problems. If its the sound you want then just use it.

Theres many arguments about this.... people saying that sampled synths lose an "organic" quality to them etc, others who say they often sound better as you can play with the sound more and layer more etc, but when it all comes down to it.....who cares? Theres very minimal difference between the original source and a good recording of the original source. Your the producer, not other people. Make tunes your way. All that matters is getting from A to B, does it really matter if go in a BMW or a Merc? all that matters is you get to the party on time.

Another argument is that at some point the original synth will be being recorded onto hard drive at some point, so will "suffer" digital recording at some stage before getting pressed to its final format.

Learn to trust your ears. When your tune is pumping out of a 500GW (LOL) sound system only the geeks will be there analysing how the tune was/wasn't put together, and what synth you used on what part (that would be me then! lol), all they're bothered about is that the tune rocks their world when it all comes down to it - its all about the music!

No doubt the audio purists will come down on me like a tonne of bricks now lol, but everyone has their own views on this, and everyone produces differently.

Hmmmm, just re-read that.... sorry about ranting LOL
