Whether that is true or not I don't know, but I know one thing if the smokers aren't there to use there higher attentivesness, then whats the point. Why do I say that, because everyday at work I think to myself how many fag breaks do they need? I seriously reckon some people knock up about 2 hours worth of fag breaks plus then they have a 30 - 60 minute lunch break!

On my older job i used about 10 min a day (5 times) for smoking, that time was away from my coffee/lunch breaks. Now i smoke 2 times a day, when i go to eat lunch and when i come back. If someone uses 2 hours a day for cig breaks, its not because hes/shes a smoker, its just because hes/shes ****ing lazy. There are so many people trying to prevent smokers to smoke at work, witch i think is really unfare. Its like saying "you cant drink coffee at coffee breaks, its your fault if you get sleepy and a headache without coffee". If you get my point.

Well that's not really going to happen, and if it does then it's self inflicted! The problem with smoking is it effects non-smokers, and that's why it's hugely unfair to those people who don't want to be sat in an office or such with someone next to them who smells like a chimney!

Personally I'm not to fussed about it, but as a neutral I'm afraid I tend to agree with the non-smokers.

There has been at least one hospital here that prevents its emplyees to smoke at work time. But do you think people should be demanded to use only perfume that is generally accepted as "good" fragrance? Garlic should be banned too, right? Also driving with own cars to work should be banned, as the air gets very bad at rush times because of those.

When/if perfume or garlic is proven to harm people's health who are passive then yes it should be banned in the work place.

Like I say I'm a neutral, but I feel people who don't smoke shouldn't be forced to spend 5 days a weak inhaling something that is unhealthy for them.

Maybe it's just because I'm considerate towards others!

Ok, theres some misunderstandings here. When at work, its not allowed to smoke inside anywhere (except in some places theres smoking rooms, with proper airconditioning). When i smoke outside, i smoke in places where there arent any non smokers. I was only referring to the smell, not the smoke itself.

the chewing gum airwaves is wicked for stopping smoking. its what made me stop before; whenever i needed a ciggie i would just have a bit of chewing gum. it worked before, and so after this pack i'm doing it again

Honestly officer, it's for medicinal purposes! Just ask my doctor, he's right over there eating the curtains!

i don't like people smoking in public places, i am quite sensitive to smoke and cough alot when people around me smoke. i am fine if people choose to smoke, thats there decision but i hate in public places having to put up with it when i decided not to destroy my lungs thats why i am all for banning of smoking in ALL public places

BOO!
