Please god, does anybody wanna sell an old 8 tape set (or know anybody who does) from 1996, simply called the 4th birthday party?. It was the BEST happy hardcore pack ever in history and takes me right back to when my life changed LOL. The cover was orange and it featured the likes of DJ Dougal with MC Merlin (on side) and DJ Dream featuring MC-`RON` (from usa I think). Also on board, were DJ Demand and DJ Si etc, etc. My old set got stolen from my car years ago and to be honest........I`ve been gutted ever since. The slightest part from any of the tapes makes me shiver as it really was ace!. The gits never stole my stereo, or expensive bloody speakers......oh no, they took my damn tapes the swines!. If any of you guys (n gals) would care to sell for cash, then I`m prepared to send sum dollar$ to ya, or if u`d prefer, I`d send `8` blank tapes and some cash if you could copy me all eight tapes. I know you all probably think I`m stupid or crazy and yes things have moved on/times have changed etc etc, but after I just came in tonight, having played the only 4 minz left of a badly copied 4th birthday Demand tape (MC Connie on m.i.c), I had to search the net and beg for help.

Wouldnt mind a copy of this pack myself actually mate...
I never got it when it came out (my mate did though) and I had all the copies (sadly not now though), but I agree it's a good pack and definitely a collectors piece worth buying :) The NYE '95/96 pack from Kinetic was ace as **** too, Brisk tape is of course on fire.
Dunno where to get it from, but I feel your pain. Keep an eye on ebay, odd Kinetic pack appears on there from time to time.

Would love to get my hands on thisk pack also, Club Kinetic was magical, I've got a shit hot Demand tape from Kinetic, but I remember I copied it from a 12 pack, think it was the 5th Bday pack, been looking for that pack for ages, think E-Bay is your best bet like invader said

Cheerz guys, I`ll keep looking. I got the original pack from Wellington (shropshire), in a little shop called BUZZ. It was owned by Keith, who ran Kinetic with a partner, but it`s been so long ago, that I`ve 4got his name LOL. Dj sten used to work just over the road from the shop itself too, which is why the pack meant so much. Why dont thieve`s ever nick our radio`s etc, just our bloody tapes?. Cheers again and if u find it, then mail it on `ere.

Sicosis, I have the 5th Bday 12 pack, "The Gathering", (although missing the Mark EG tape d'oh). There's one on Ebay at the moment.. bit pricey though, buy it now @ £34.99 
I used to buy the majority my packs from Trax Records in Mansfield

Cheers invader, I've just had a look at the copy of the Demand tape I've got and I've writen 4th Birthday bash on it. What threw me was Jack Frost sayin the pack was an 8 pack. Even though it was 10 years ago when I copied this tape, I'm sure it was a 12 packI copied it from. £35 quid sounds a bit pricey, but I'm gonna have a look anyway.

Since I've just realised I have the Demand tape from the pack you are looking for, I could put all of the Demand set and Some of the vibes set on the internet fot you to d/load if you like Jack?
Does the demand set start with Here's Johnny?

I can hear it now...ooh the memories LOL. It was definately an `8` pack too. I think that if I ever get my hands on it again, I`ll be dancing for hours!!!. I`m new to this p.c business kiddo, so when u say u cud put it on the net 4 me, u`ll av to make it as easy as poss, as I`m still learning wot to do etc.

It's deffo the same tape, I'll try to get it on the comp at weekend, shit hot tape. I'll send you a link, u click and save to you hard drive, if you've got a CD writer you can put it on disc. Easy

NICE-1 KIDDER!, NICE-1. Yeah it is definately a banging tape of the highest calibre. I`ll owe u one big time mate, cheers!. If you managed to find any of the other tapes to go with it, then let me kno. I`ve just got a new `nec` dvd-rom burner etc, and a nice cracked version of NERO to muck about with too. If u aint got a burner, then I`ll slap it on disc 4 ya man.....sod it, I`ll do 10 copies LOL. I`ll keep my eyes on this site like a hawk now.
PS: The Dougal tape started with MC Merlin (on side) and it was `heart of gold` that made me get into the whole rave thing in the first place. I know that everybody thinks "oh my god, this bloody tune again", but seriously dude, it sent shivers down my spine. All of the 8 tapes were just incredible and DJ Dream made a Huge boo-boo on his set (if that rings any bells?). MC Ron was mc-ing for dream too and all I remember about `ron`, was that he kept laughing loudly.
