hmmmm. I don't think Hardcore should go commercial if thats what you mean - It should stay an underground scene.

I agree, although it is starting to go commercial with the likes of slinky and other franchises like it having a hardcore room at their nights.

If it moves, eat it. If not wait until it does moves and then eat it.

Forgive me if i'm wrong, but i don't remember the people being the reason for the slump hardcore went through.

People lost interest because the music was generally pretty poor, the events weren't as good etc etc.

The only promotion Hardcore needs is from the music and events continuing to excite the ravers.

Arguably one of the best

Although there is a comercial side coming to the scene i don't think this is a bad thing!! where would the chavs and townys go??? A shiny towny club where there all looking for fights and the stella flows like water or a luved up mainly underground club where we're all looking for hugs and the water flows like ..... well water

yeah djDMS is right. The secene basically got bogged down with the same Djs playing the same tunes, the scene needed moving foward.

"Nu-Skool" hardcorewas that move foward and Hardcore is back for good. The quality of DJs and producers are better than they have ever been. As recent events have all shown, there is and always has been a large and loyal hardcore following which is growing every day.

The people I meet at raves are some of the soundest people I've ever met. If it all goes commercial wel'll get these larger louts who start fights every sturday night at our raves! I do wish Styles would stop giving tunes to Ultrabeat and other people like that.

In all fairness back in the day all the tunes were made on amiga's and synths etc, the technology behind production has advanced so much it's scary, with the new technology it has opened up the ability for producers to reach deeper into there imaginations and create more noises than they ever could
thats my view any way

As for the same DJ's playing the same tunes thats not entirely true!!! There were tunes you expected to hear when you went to dreamscape etc just as there are now when you go to HTID etc, there will always be heavily played anthems at any event and i love em
