Agreed, not all of us have a bunch of mates that are into hardcore and raving that are prepared to go raving with you at the drop of a hat. I go on my own a lot of the time - it sure beats not going at all :P

Also you don't have to worry about losing them and finding them again, wanting to dance when they want to chill out and vice versa, them wanting to go home early, etc etc

Yes, sadly this is true, i wish i were in the UK sometimes.

If there is little in the way of raves in your area, i suggest make the most of the ones that do come around.

unfortunatly there are no "legal" raves in ireland, but there are plenty of illegal raves and i tell u sumthing BEST BUZZ EVER!!back to the ****in basics!
my friend describes it as this and its the best description ive been given :
Its about dancing and going mad allnight with no ego or snobbery about electro politics and realising you dont have to be in a godskitchen super dome to ****ing go bezerk
Want to dance on the roof? Go ahead.
Want to jump around like a lunatic and pass your bottle of buck around? Go ahead.
Want to roll around in the mud outside the tent during the breakdown, take your trousers off and run around with your underpants on your head singing along to a vocal hook? Go ahead. Its happened before.
Want to be a middle aged lesbian couple getting off with each other sittin on a speaker or a wide eyed raving rambeler from Cork trying to teach a goat to breakdance? Knock yourself out!

Its about knocking down preconceptions and being a family of randoms just for a night lol...
Were all united, coz this is our style - this OUR music..
nothing else matters.
You get people from every creed, every walk of life having a good time and not being an *******.
And thats few and far between theese days
