Mmmm... my opinion may have been a bit strong perhaps.
Funny thing is, it wasn't the subject of the original topic that caused the reaction - it was the 'i didnt break one ****in rule and some **** closed it anyways' comment that made me mad.
The subject of downloading/sharing mixes (obviously not high quality) is a tricky one and i can't really say that i'm 100% against it but i won't come on a forum like this and encourage others to share music that they have no right to do.
My record/CD collection is the result of a lot of hard work/expense (and some personal sacrifices) over many years, and it really pisses me off when some random nobody can amass the same amount of music for free in a week just by sitting at a computer.
Apologies Comet if you were in any way offended but surely even YOU must get angry sometimes?

I think you'll find dr0p_dead_fred that someone who has alot of vinyl/cd's isn't necessarily rich they have usually built it up over time by missing out on other things because they have a true love for there music. However even if they do have alot of money it probably means they work hard to earn it and therefor deserve it.

I've worked damn hard for EVERYTHING i have and nobody can dispute that.

Im not an expert but its wicked that hes trying to keep a budget... But you got to pay for records yo. And even then you have to be careful how you use them. I got in trouble a couple of weeks ago because I was selling mix tapes. $5 each but whatever, you need a license, acctually. Anyways, I don't really know why people don't get to speak their mind but it was probably against the law....

I am a broke ass college student (and i mean BROKE) I am several thousands of dollars in debt because of my student loans and I still don't steal my hardcore. I listen to what I can for free, and buy what I can, and I don't want a cookie for it. It's just common sense. Lack of money is no excuse.
