The year is 2004. The electronic music scene has been under constant attack by the government, media and society for several years now. They are doing everything in their power to take away and destroy the one love that we all share in our lives: the music. The music is what brought us all into this dance culture and sadly some of us have forgotten that and the magic that we once thought was there has seemed to vanish. But it doesn’t have to be like that if we don’t want it to be. Remember when promoters actually spent time decorating a venue? Remember when promoters actually spent time to find a venue at all? Something as simple as this in addition to a good vibe set forth by all partygoers is all that’s needed to bring back the magic we once all felt. Add onto that a world-class lineup and a brand new 3 story, 4 room venue and that is exactly what Sensory Overload Entertainment plans to give you.
April 17th, 2004, the creators of the Fifty-50 Sessions, Sensory Overload Entertainment, is proud to bring you the first step into the future of the Los Angeles party scene, ELEVATE. You will never hear or see a promise made and broken by us like you have seen with other promoters. Nor will you ever be forced to pay obscene amounts of money to see the same boring entertainment that they provide. Rather, we will always give you the best party possible for the lowest possible price. With the theme of Elevation in mind, tickets at the door will be sold in a very unique way at this event. Going in multiples of ten, the first ten people will get in for FREE, the next ten for $1, the next ten for $2, and so on until the price reaches $30 and from there on the price will stay that way ALL NIGHT LONG!

I, for one, am PISSED OFF! I just got this new job and they decided to give me the crappiest schedule in the WORLD. So they give me 2-11 every day for the next 3 weeks with Tues and Thurs off.... no biggie, i show up late to the party and sleep in.... WRONG. The ONE day the break from the 2-11 scheduling is that very next Sunday, where I start work at 8am...... ARGH. Who's a guy gotta sleep with around here to get a half decent schedule?!?

Here's what I suggest:
Sleep in Saturday as late as you can and then drink a lot frappucinos and/or energy drinks and stay awake all day the next day for work!
