Why are you responding like a hurt 12 year old? Either way, hope your "boohoo I'm so oppressed by the left" role play is going well for you brother. Peace.

Nice strawman you built there. Peace to you too.

For someone who wants to be always right, I'm still waiting for to show me where I mistakenly called Toy Town for Shooting Star. But I presume you can only end up using jokes to shuffle arguments away.

But I do have to take some things back, but you did give me thanks for one of the ID's I thought you didn't. it was for the freeform (which was makina) id one were the original thread was unanswered, and the other id wasn't even yours

That was a joke about Shooting Star. I was winding you up.

No worries. Maybe I was a little harsh in my original reply. We're all good.

Except for our political stand points :P

Just to be clear, while I do hate basicaly everything on the right side, I don't like everything on the left side either. But that's the problem. In most countries, no one wants to meet in the middle. It's either very left or very right (and the few times extremely left or extremely right)

As I alluded to earlier, political stand points and positions are shifting under our feet all the time now. It's moving rapid. Left, right and centre are all moving with the current climate. People that would consider themselves left in 1997 are now centre and right. The shift of the overton window towards the far left has thrown everything into disarray politically. It's pushing moderates right. So what you envisage as the old right may actually be you now.

Notice how i didn't mention the far right? Despite the constant perpetuation of it via legacy media. There is no far right with a current foothold in any institution now in the UK/Europe or America (despite that term being bounced around by MSM frivolously). They are small & fringe, driven underground for the most parts. Nobody accepts them. Rightly so. You are right, we shouldn't accept extremism via any form. So why far left extremism is left to flourish, is beyond me.

If you wish to discuss this at length, PM me or grab me on Facebook. I've had a couple from this site message me privately about politics because of how toxic the subject is, and they don't want to post in the threads.

Not trying to drag this on but it is my thread so I shall say that one problem with the left is different factions which have hijacked the Labour Party and the media. You have your old style socialists such as Corbyn who lean towards strong nationalisation and union membership which are 'anti establishment' to an extent but you also have their overly liberal and PC woke left who should really be supporting the Green Party but have found their way into every political debate. The whole BLM and Me Too movements are strong with their cancel culture. Modern Labour pander to this with knee bending but it is far from the traditional values of the Labour Party of the past. Sometimes they are 'socialists' but other times they are not.

Old Labour supporters would have been socially Conservative although would have not used that term themselves. It was about supporting the working man and his family but now it is supporting the breakdown of the family values by throwing benefits and chavvy 'baby mamas' and then endorsing the wave three feminism which seems to want to discriminate against men. That is not real Labour but it is what they have become.

The decline happened under Blair and then it went wacky under Corbyn who was clueless in how to keep these characters out of his broken party. The frightening thing is that the BBC are supporting it and are doing everything they can to get Labour elected.

I guess he was too busy having to defend himself from people call him antisemitic, when he only hated Israel for what they've been doing for the past 10-15 years?

You make some valid points.

It's probably going to be some corporate-approved Libertarian shite, but an improvement on the BBC and C4 at least.
