he ladies of the Core are uniting over a series of mixes 'Ready To Play'. The launch is a mix of classic anthems of our favourite tracks.

I might be a little biased since I never tend to like MCs (and especially on a studio mix), but why in the goddesses names do they keep pronouncing their own names? Leave the Ego tripping to the likes of MC Storm, it's the only thing they have left.
And that tracklist is a mess. Did you get my boss at work to write it like that?

Now for my thoughts. :(
It's not good overall.
Poor sound quality
A lot of distortion during some mixes.
Some not so good transitions.
Vocal on vocal transitions.
The track selection is very good.
The artwork is also good.
I really don't want to say anymore because I wouldn't want to single people out or make them feel bad.
Sorry.
Also please post accurate tracklists. It's not just about the mixing. Overall presentation needs to be improved.
Now I feel bad but I must be honest. I feel that's the only way to be as it helps people see where they went wrong and learn to do better.
Hoping the next one is better.

wow u guys. Racy decided to unite the ladies of the scene over a series of mixes from all over the world. yeh we all mix different styles, and different recording equipment. Its all a bit of fun during lockdown to help keep the scene rolling, positive and uplifting. Keep smiing guys :)

Oh fudge no, don't try to pull a Billy Jump on us. Turning any kind of criticism into an attack on their person will only agitate us.
Anyway, personally I didn't listen to the mix because of the MCing. I hope Messaih doesn't take offence to that, but I tend to dislike almost all MCing.
It's understandable that the quality of the recording will take a hit from being recorded and re-record several times because you didn't record it all at the same place, but I don't think MusicILove knew that, and he is kind off sensitive to bad recordings and mastering.

I listened upto cruising, the first few mixes weren't upto much. but once i got upto get away, the mixes started flowing well. A few of my favorite tracks always helped sway my opinion too (rock you softly,blue anthem, braveheart remix). It's a good idea... See what the next one is like!

I feel that in 2020 high quality sound and accurate tracklists should be the standard. If I can do it on my mixes and projects then so should the more professional crowd. I put many hours of work in to make sure the listener has a good experience and I think the more professional crowd should do the same.
If it was recorded and re recorded then the person in charge needs to take a different approach as that one is not how to put together a project like that. Again if I can do it with all my disabilities and health problems then so should others.
The winter mix was my first attempt at a project like this and it was high quality all the way.
