Hi there,

I just have one question for the board ... and it's not "do you like you hardcore!?" We all know we all do!

I was on the quest for the past several eons to try to find the largest pair of denim phat pants, you know those relics from the late nineties/early 2000's?

Well, I found a pair of classic 69 kikwear phat pants and to my downwards grin, I saw, wow! these aren't enough.

I'm sizing these pants up to this guy's from a Hullabaloo part from way back in 2001 http://epe.lac-bac.gc.ca/100/202/300/tribe/2001/tribe85.pdf (page 30)

Where can I find something like that! ebay, nope. kikwear, nope (they extend to 69.) jnco, double no (they extend to fifty.) and then there's the other one's for shufflers and the old enlightenedlibra designer, they seem to have only one size, and it's not big enough.

I know, people used to manufacture their own. I'm just tossing this question out there to hope to get a response ... is there anyone who thinks this guy made his own or were they purchased. And how does one go through the process of manufacturing phat pants? And, and ... how big do you think this guy's cuffs are on the bottom of his trousers??

Used to party with a guy who started in 95 (mid school, relatively speaking ...) and he saw a guy wearing 120' phats ... what was the widdest cuffed trousers you saw at an oldskool party?

Want to know. Trying to, whether it be wrong or right, make an impression ... not on the streets or in parties or at school, just maybe to myself as my own little vigilante of fashion.

Of all the (few) people who's still around, I think there's only one who cares about this kind of clothing

I agree and rightfully so, they're dumb. That's what makes them fun. Since they aren't popular or even wanted anymore, I like them all the more. Because, I guess, I'm kind of dumb and silly in my fashion sense (too.) I am a proud fashion solipsist.
